Established in 2014 by freelance makeup artists Courtney Therry, TXC COLLECTIVE is an agency representing a select group of top tier hair stylists and makeup artists based in Perth, Western Australia. A hub for artists and like-minded creatives within the beauty and hair industries, TXC COLLECTIVE facilitates a sole booking channel through which clients are able to source hair and makeup for any occasion.
With over 15 years experience in the beauty industry, TXC COLLECTIVE founder Courtney Therry works her magic on everything from editorial campaigns and fashion shoots, to weddings, personal events and everything in between. Beginning her career as a freelance makeup artist in her early 20’s, it was Courtney’s time at iconic retail giant Mecca Cosmetica, where she was able to truly hone her craft, and begin to make a name for herself within the industry. Igniting her passion for beauty and skincare, it wasn’t long before Courtney was managing multiple Mecca Cosmetica retail stores, whilst establishing herself as a highly sort after Colour Specialist.
Alongside running TXC COLLECTIVE and TXC CoLab; a creative hub and booking channel for Perth’s most premium hair stylists and makeup artists, Courtney continues to pursue her career as one of Perth’s most established makeup artists. A creative collaborator alongside her clients, Courtney has had the privilege of partnering with a number of highly established brands including Rusty Australia, Country Road, One Fell Swoop, Lola Varma Bridal, Myer, Sunseeker Swimwear, Eleven Australia, Fella Swim, and Gymshark to name a few. Her talents have also been acquired by a number of celebrities over the years, including the likes of Daniel Riccardo, Erin Brockovich, Elle Ferguson, Jane Kennedy and Tommy Little as well as working alongside hair stylist Joey Scandizzo.
